Supreme Court Practice and Procedure Act 2023 will be heard today

The hearing on the petitions against the Supreme Court Practice and Procedure Act 2023 will be held today. An 8-member larger bench headed by the Chief Justice of Pakistan will conduct the hearing.
The bench includes Justice Ijazul Ahsan, Justice Muneeb Akhtar, Justice Mazahar Ali Akbar Naqvi, Justice Muhammad Ali Mazhar, Justice Ayesha Malik, Justice Hasan Azhar Rizvi and Justice Shahid Waheed.
On the other hand, Tehreek-e-Insaf has requested to declare the new law null and void.
It should be noted that the Supreme Court had issued notices to the parties on the last hearing.
