Hardik Pandya's ankle injury forces him out of India vs. New Zealand clash

Indian cricket team’s all-rounder Hardik Pandya has been ruled out of the World Cup match against New Zealand due to injury.

As per reports in Indian media, Hardik Pandya needs a week to get rid of ankle pain and Surya Kumar Yadav or Ishan Kishan will be included in the playing XI, while Mohammad Shami can be replaced by Shirdal Thakur in the upcoming match.

According to the Indian media, Hardik Pandya suffered an injury in the match against Bangladesh yesterday, he has also been scanned and a formal decision will be made after the review report.

It should be noted that the match between India and New Zealand is scheduled in Dharamsala on Sunday.
