ATC issues arrest warrant for Marriyum Aurangzeb

Marriyum Aurangzeb
Anti-terrorism court (ATC) has issued a non-bailable arrest warrant for Marriyum Aurangzeb, senior leader of Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N).

The case, which involves Marriyum Aurangzeb and others, was brought before Judge Abhar Gul Khan of the anti-terrorism court.

The decision to issue a non-bailable arrest warrant was based on Maryam Aurangzeb's failure to appear in court.

However, the other co-accused individuals appeared in court and fulfilled their required appearances.

The court granted time to the lawyers representing the accused to confer and prepare their arguments.

This legal action stems from a case registered in 2022 at the Green Town police station against Marriyum Aurangzeb and the other accused individuals.
